EFL Play-Off Glory For DT38 Ambassadors
Huge congratulations to DT38 Patron Mile Jedinak who won promotion to the Premier with Aston Villa FC at Wembley on May 27.
And just the day before former Dylan Tombides Award winner and DT38 Ambassador Josh Cullen set-up the goal that clinched promotion for Charlton Athletic FC at the home of football during their 2-1 triumph against AFC Sunderland.
Earlier in the season fellow Ambassadors Elliot Lee, George Moncur and Dan Potts won promotion to The Championship after winning the League One title with Luton Town FC.
DT38 at the Perth Glory MGP Awards
We were delighted to attend the Perth Glory FC Most Glorious Player Awards on April 30th.
There were many highlights on the night including our presentation of the ‘DT38 Foxtel Youth League Most Glorious Player of the Year’ to midfielder Henry Hore.
The event was held at the Crown Towers Ballroom and we are very grateful for the hospitality afforded to us on what was a great night.
New DT38 Hoodie Now Available
We’re delighted this month to launch the first DT38 Hoodie, following calls for such a garment from supporters of our charity.
The all-new, super cool clothing, with distressed white logo, is now available online in black with a size range of aged 5 to adult XXL. It is priced at £25 & all profits will be used to support our campaign against #testicularcancer

West Ham United Legends Q & A
We had a brilliant time at an evening of West Ham United legends on May 2ndorganised by supporters of the Hammers who raised £1,000 for our charity on the night.
Former West Ham stars took part in a Q & A including Luděk Mikloško, Tony Gale, Julian Dicks and Steve Lomas.
Hammer fans’ group Any Old Irons raffled two tickets for the session and donated the proceeds to DT38.
Thank you to all involved for the invite to the event in Romford and for the amazing donations.
The Fifth Dylan Tombides Award Winner Crowned
We were thrilled to attend the West Ham United Player Awards on May 8th, at the InterContinental London.
Ajibola Alese won the fifth Dylan Tombides Award, an accolade to recognise the best Academy player over the 2018/19 season.
Previous winners of the award are Josh Cullen, Conor Coventry, Domingos Quina and DT38 Ambassador Declan Rice who picked up three awards on the night.
The England international won Young Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Individual Performance of the Year.

Running the Asics London 10k for DT38
We were very pleased to have been awarded ten places for the Asics London 10k on July 21st, 2019, and so were you it seems.
Within hours of offering these spots to our supporters on social media, all but three of them had been snapped up!

Many Happy Returns
There was a lucky seven birthdays among our DT38 Ambassadors in May.
On May 5th, Aussie motor racing star Adam Marjoram turned 25 and on the 8thHammers captain Mark Noble was 32.
On May 8, Fox Sports presenter Heather Miller celebrated her big day as did DT38 Committee Member Erica Pass just three days later.
Maidstone United FC winger Blair Turgott was 25 on May 22nd and on the 24thfellow pro footballer Jordan Spence was 29.
Mark Lee former football player and now professional coach was 39 on May 31st.
Picture of the Month
Every month we receive so many amazing pictures of people showing their support of DT38 but we have to narrow it down to one, to crown our “Picture of the Month”.
So, this month we’ve gone for this image of Fox Sports football commentator Simon Hill.
Just look at DT38 Ambassador Simon ‘flaying the flag’ for our charity at the Perth Glory v Adelaide United A League semi final and he was on the microphone that day too. What a legend!
